PAT Testing

Why Portable Appliance Test (PAT)?

According to the Electricity at Work Act (1989) it is an employers responsibility to take steps to ensure that no danger results from the use of electrical equipment. The easiest way of doing this is to have your appliances PAT tested.

What needs to be PAT Tested?

Any item which is not part of a fixed installation but is intended to be connected by means of a flexible cable, plug and socket. So basically, any item with a plug!

How much will it cost?

For under 100 items there is an initial fee of £50 which includes your first 10 items. For every item after that it is £1.80. For over 100 items there is no initial charge, just £1.80 an item. For more items, greater discounts are available.
